This photograph was taken in July, 2002, three months before Rick's motor vehicle accident. He's standing next to MAF of Canada's advanced training aircraft, a Cessna Centurion six-seater featuring retractable landing gear and a constant-speed, variable-pitch propeller. In the three years since the motor vehicle accident Rick hasn't been able to bring himself to visit the Three Hills airport, home-base of Prairie Bible Institute's flight training facility where C-GWOL is hangared. The christian writer Chuck Swindoll is quoted as saying "We cannot change our past. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude." Please continue to pray for Rick as he struggles to let go of the past and rejoice in the future a loving, caring God has in store for him and Mary.
